Lamination is an important field of application in the further processing of corru­gated board and carton paper. For this purpose, plasticized polyvinyl acetate homo­polymer-based dispersion adhesives are normally used. Special flatness and proper­ties which provide for a high punching speed are important requirements for lamination. As this application is relatively simple, the price of the adhesives used is crucial, and the addition of fillers (e. g. chalk) which are admixed with the dispersions offers an opportunity to reduce raw material cost. The adhesives are applied by means of rollers.
